Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions explain how Physio247 provides online physiotherapy services. By booking an appointment, you agree to the terms below. If you have any questions, please contact us.

1. About our service

Physio247 provides online physiotherapy delivered by UK-registered physiotherapists.
Appointments are offered by video or phone and follow UK professional and ethical standards.

Online physiotherapy is suitable for most muscle, joint, and nerve problems. If your physiotherapist believes your symptoms require urgent medical care or an in-person examination, they will advise you on the next steps.

2. Booking appointments

You can book online through our website.
Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

By booking, you confirm that:

  • the information you provide is accurate

  • you understand the service is delivered remotely

  • you have access to a private space and a stable connection for your appointment

If you prefer a phone appointment, please let us know when booking.

3. Payments

All appointments must be paid for at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
We accept debit and credit card payments.

Package purchases must be paid in full at the time of purchase.

4. Cancellation policy

  • You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment at no cost.

  • If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, the full session fee may still apply.

  • Missed appointments (non-attendance without notice) may be charged in full.

We understand that emergencies happen. If something outside your control prevents you from attending, please contact us as soon as possible.

5. Refunds

Single appointments

If you cancel more than 24 hours before your appointment, we will refund the fee in full.

Packages

Packages are refundable within 14 days of purchase, provided no sessions have been used. After 14 days, or once any part of the package has been used, packages become non-refundable. Packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

If physiotherapy is not appropriate

If your physiotherapist determines during the assessment that physiotherapy is not appropriate for your symptoms, you will not be charged for the session.

6. Safety and suitability

Online physiotherapy relies on the information you provide.
You agree to:

  • answer questions honestly

  • follow safety instructions during movement assessments

  • stop any movement that causes significant pain, dizziness, or distress

Your physiotherapist may advise ending a session early if continuing would not be safe.

If your symptoms suggest a medical emergency or non-musculoskeletal issue, we will direct you to appropriate care.

7. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • ensuring a safe, private space for your session

  • having suitable internet, audio, or video access

  • notifying us of changes in your symptoms or health between appointments

If you choose a phone appointment, visual assessment may not be possible. Your physiotherapist will still advise based on the information available.

8. Our responsibilities

We will:

  • provide care that meets UK physiotherapy professional standards

  • explain your symptoms in clear, plain English

  • give safe, evidence-based advice

  • protect your privacy and personal information

  • tell you if your symptoms require medical assessment, imaging, or urgent care

9. Use of information

We store and process your information in line with UK data protection laws.
For full details, see our Data protection page.

10. Insurance

If you intend to claim physiotherapy through private insurance:

  • check with your insurer before booking

  • keep your invoice for reimbursement

  • note that coverage varies between providers

Physio247 is not responsible for decisions made by insurers.

11. Limitation of liability

Physio247 provides physiotherapy services with reasonable skill and care.
We are not liable for:

  • outcomes affected by inaccurate information you provide

  • technical issues beyond our control (internet, device problems, etc.)

  • your actions outside the advice given during sessions

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under UK law.
